Unior racing team, with Martin Vugrinec, won 3rd place at the IDM international motorcycle championship

This past weekend, from 27 to 29 September, the IDM championship finals (Internationale Deustsche Motorradmeisterschaft) were held at the Hockenheim racing circuit in Germany. Unior’s Unior Racing Team was there for the second year running with the young but very successful driver Martin Vugrinec. He races in the SuperSport 600 class using a Yamaha YZFR-6.

Martin again achieved outstanding results this year, securing an excellent 2nd place in Sunday’s first race where he started 10th, and a very good 11th place in the second race, which was held in extremely poor weather conditions and was even interrupted. His excellent performance in Sunday’s race brought him another 27 points, earning him a fantastic 3rd place in the overall championship standings in the SSP600 class. Only Marc Buchner with 191 points and the winner, Max Enderlein, with 222 points ranked ahead of him. Congratulations to Martin and the whole team who proved that you do not necessarily need a large team for great results, but above all, a great heart and courage! Way to go, guys, and good luck in the new season! Unior’s presence in motor sport strengthens and demonstrates its commitment to quality, efficiency and superior hand tools.
